The great thing about cancer is that you do
not have to face it alone. On the first Monday of the month, at 4pm, Pastor Chris
leads the monthly meeting of the Cancer
Support Group.
Members share their
experiences along with the healing andsupport that comes from talking with and relating to people in similar situations |

Losing a loved one is never an easy
experience. It is hard to go through the
grief on your own, but there is hope.
Tuesday afternoons at 2pm, Pastor
Chris leads the Grief Support Group.Members fellowship in love and support with each other as
well as have a good time bonding and laughing. Their laughter can be heard down the hall.

The Women’s Bible Study is
currently studying Psalms:
The women start the evening with
prayer and continue with getting to
know each other and learning and
growing in God’s Word.
“Your involvement in the Women’s
Bible Study will enrich your life
through the friendships you’ll make
with other believers.
I’m looking
forward to what God will do in the
lives of those who attend as they
grow closer to HIM through new fellowships!”

ESL classes meet on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm. |
You do not need to be a trained teacher to teach ESL. If
you know how to speak English, you can learn how to
teach English with just a little training.
An important part of ESL is our sharing the love of Jesus
with the students who come. We do this in many ways.
We need help in serving refreshments and caring for the
children. We need someone to tell the Bible story by
flannel graph at break time. We need substitutes.
Please see Lauralee Lindholm or call 972-230-8067 if you can help with ESL in any way. |

giving water for Ethiopia! is rounding up used
books, CDs etc. to sell through their
eBay store. All of the money goes to
dig wells and provide for needy
children in Ethiopia. All the work and
outreach is done through the Addis
Kidan Baptist Churches and God is
really moving!
The Lindholms will be collecting all the
items. If you cannot find them, you can
leave your donations under the table in
the foyer next to the portico.
