Mrs. Kimberly Case is our Children's Minister.
Her goal for the children is to know Jesus as their personal Savior and to experience a real relationship with Jesus. She wants Jesus to be real in every aspect of their lives.  Ministry is more than just passing on Bible stories.  It is about effecting change in the lives of children and equipping children for their spiritual destinies.  God has a purpose and plan for each child's life.

Jesus was an advocate for children.  Mark 10:14,16 says "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these ... And He took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them." It is our responsibility as a church to partner with families and help them train their children to be committed followers of Christ.  The church is a place where values that were once "common place" (commitment, faithfulness, truth, respect and honor) can be taught as a biblical basis for their spiritual lives. I am excited about what God is doing in our children's classes. We have an excellent group of teachers that are committed to teaching children the value of Christ in their lives.

Kimberly received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education with an Early Childhood endorsement from Dallas Baptist University in 1993. 

In 2004, she completed her Master's Degree in Education Organization and Administration also from Dallas Baptist University.  Kimberly is a former school teacher and stay-at-home mom.  She received her calling to ministry in May 2003.  She has been our Children's Minister since that time.

Kimberly is married to Jimmy Case. They have three daughters:  Bailey, Lindley and Delaney.

 

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY
Dec 5th

The Children's Christmas Party will be Saturday December 5th here at the church at 11:00 a.m.  The kids will be watching the Veggie Tales movie "St Nicholas and the Joyful Gift".  Lunch will be pizza and we will decorate cupcakes.  We will be stuffing stockings for our shut in members and the residents of Alterra House.  We need items for the stockings, if you would like to make a contribution here is the list:  You may leave the items in Kimberly's office or bring them with you on the Saturday the 5th.

Mission Friends:  Ages 3-5 years old will resume this evening September 13th at 6:00 p.m.   Kay Armstrong will be teaching along with Treon Spencer.
